Torrential rain led to a heavy mudslide on Lochbroom hills last weekend, after a Highland yellow weather warning from the Met Office for severe downpours.

Over the weekend Ullapool saw heavy rain, thunder and sheet lightning, and thick storm clouds.

Local Shearwater Cruises tour boat operator Noel Hawkins captured a video of the Lochbroom mudslide on Saturday, gaining over 16k views on Twitter.

One person commented under Noel's post: "The amount of soil in the water was amazing, like driving the boat through mud!"
