A Black Isle group set up to identify and help fill gaps in care for older folk living on the peninsula has paid tribute to the invaluable help given by young volunteers.

Black Isle Cares said: "We want to take a minute to say a huge thank you to all our young volunteers for everything you do.

"Every single one of you is an inspiration to us all."

It came during Volunteers’ Week which is an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering.
