WATCH: Highland loop pedal musician drops stunning new music video

The latest video from Highland musician MacGilli has just gone live, showcasing his new single Momentum – and he spoke exclusively to The Inverness Courier to mark its release.

While working on his video at Strathpeffer Pavillion, Mike MacGillivray – who performs as MacGilli – took some time out to talk about his music and offer some insights into his unique songs.

Mike revealed how he uses the loop pedal to layer sound: "Every element of the music in my songs is played on one guitar, and built up using a loop station so the arrangements can be performed live."
