WATCH: Aftermath of lorry and coach crash on A835 Dingwall-Ullapool road near Contin

DRAMATIC video has emerged of the damage caused when a coach and lorry collided on a major Highland trunk road yesterday.

The A835 was closed in both directions at around 4.30pm after Traffic Scotland reported the collision online. Traffic was able to begin moving past the still partially-blocked scene by 7.25pm and by 8.14pm the route was fully reopened and traffic was flowing again.

Luckily it is understood that no-one was seriously hurt in the crash – despite footage showing several shattered windows on the coach and damage to the body work on the front.
