VOLUNTEERS working to create an off road link between two major Ross-shire communities have made great progress after the latest work party.
The Peffery Way project is connecting Dingwall and Strathpeffer for walkers, cyclists and others away from dangerous stretches of road.
The project is creating a safe commuting and leisure use link between the two communities.
For a significant stretch it follows an old railway line.

Use of sections of the path mushroomed during the coronavirus crisis as increasing numbers of people came to value the stretches of route on their doorsteps.
The latest effort by volunteers on Saturday morning saw further progress.
The group posted: "Big shout out to the volunteers out on Saturday morning clearing the leaves from the Strath end of the Peffery Way. The photos show just how marvellous the path looks now.
"There are leaves to clear on the Dingwall end of the path, so the final session of 2022 is Saturday, December 10. Meet 9.30am at Fodderty Cemetery. All welcome!"
