A HOST of stalls and fun family activities are expected entertain the public when Lochcarron's festive fair is held on Saturday, December 11.

The event will take place at Lochcarron Village Hall from 11am to 3pm.

The day will feature "the pop-up Midge Bite Café, craft stalls, children’s activities and more".

Organisers say they are "excited about the great response" to the event so far, with stall tables "all booked out" and a reserve list in operation.

However, they are also still on the lookout for potential dancers, musicians or singers, and have also asked if anyone wants to help out as a general volunteer, or with kids' face-painting or Christmas crafts/activities.

"It should be just the festive cheer we all need!" added the spokesperson, who also reminded the public that Covid safety rules will be in place during the event.
