UPDATE: Patience plea to householders as repair to burst Black Isle water pipe affecting households in Killen, Avoch, Culbokie, Munlochy and Fortrose is completed

WORK to repair a burst water pipe affecting residents across the Black Isle has been completed.

Repairs to the burst water pipe at Killen, which caused the interruption to water supplies for customers in Culbokie, Munlochy, Avoch and Fortrose, have been completed.

Scottish Water added: "We estimate it will take up to a couple of hours for all customers to have their water supply fully restored.

"The water supply will gradually come in to service for customers during this period."
