UPDATE: Missing Invergordon teenager is traced safe and well, police in Easter Ross confirm

AN Easter Ross teenager who had earlier been posted missing by police has been traced safe and well.

Police had yesterday issued the appeal for help to trace James Carr (15), last seen in the Fraser Road area of Invergordon on Wednesday afternoon.

This evening the Highlands and islands division of Police Scotland posted he had been found.

It said: "Police Scotland can confirm that James Carr (15), reported missing from the Invergordon area, has been traced safe and well.

"Thanks to all who assisted in tracing him."
