UPDATE: Kessock Bridge was closed due to 'concern for person'

Kessock Bridge was closed earlier this evening due to a 'concern for person'.

Police were called to the section of the A9 at around 6.05pm. It reopened around 45 minutes later.

It is understood the man left the area safely.

Earlier this week, it was revealed talks are under way among a number of organisations regarding closures of the bridge due to similar incidents.
