Margaret Payne's fundraising challenge is proving to be a runaway success.

A nonagenarian climbing the equivalent of the height of Highland mountain Suilven on her stairs has raised almost £200,000 so far.

Margaret Payne, who lives near Lairg, originally set herself a target of £10,000 for the NHS and Highland Hospice.

Margaret began her challenge on Easter Sunday, and completed three flights before lunch.

Her effort has captured hearts across the country and seen her total rise steadily.
