UPDATE: A9 reopened at Brora after two vehicle crash

The A9 has reopened in both directions at Brora after a two-vehicle crash earlier this afternoon.

It is not yet know whether there were any casualties in the collision at the southern side of the Sutherland village.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 1.05pm on Monday, 21 August, 2023, we were called to a report of a crash involving two vehicles on the A9 at Brora.

“Emergency services are in attendance.”
