TRAFFIC on the A87 near Eilean Donan Castle is returning to normal after a car on its roof was cleared from the carriageway.

The vehicle partially blocked the road following the crash, sometime before 9.40am this morning.

At the time Traffic Scotland said “traffic [is] managing past slowly” and added that police were on the scene.

But shortly before 11.30am the agency confirmed that the road had now been cleared.

It is unknown if anyone was injured.
