Ullapool car home appoints new boss; Mo Dhachaidh run by Barchester Healthcare has new general manager

A CARE home in Ullapool has appointed a new general manager.

Andrew Jackson will be the new lead at Barchester Healthcare’s Mo Dhachaidh care home which provides residential care, nursing care and dementia care for its residents.

During his 22-year-long career Mr Jackson has managed care services in Scotland, England, Jersey and Gibraltar after completing SVQ4 and BA Health Studies.

In 2014 Andrew was awarded the Alumni Of the year for services to older People by the University of the Highlands and Islands.

Mr Jackson said: “I am delighted to join the team here at Mo Dhachaidh and am enjoying meeting and getting to know our residents. I’m looking forward to managing this home and continuing to provide high quality care.”

Kenny McKie, the regional operations director for Mo Dhachaidh, said: “I am pleased to welcome this addition to the team here at Mo Dhachaidh we are committed to providing high quality care and I really think Andrew will be a big hit with our residents.”

Mo Dhachaidh care home is a 19 bed facility run by Barchester Healthca
