TRACTOR enthusiasts from Wester Ross have dealt another welcome boost to Highland Hospice.

The Ullapool Boys, as they are known, got to work on an International 484 generously donated by Fraser MacNeil from Lairg.

The fundraisers, Kenny Macpherson, Ian Rettie, Fraser MacNeil and John Urquhart, sold it for £3000.

On top of this donation, the team raised a remarkable £3751 for the tractor run they did in June.

A Hospice spokeswoman said: “To raise £6751 for the Hospice in the space of a few months is just incredible!

To all those involved – from Ullapool and other nearby areas – we greatly appreciate your staunch support which helps all those who rely on our many services.”
