The Ullapool call-out prompted a response from a number of units.

FOUR units turned out after the fire service received a call that there was a blaze in a house in Pulteney Street, Ullapool on Monday.

The local unit was first on the scene and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire with a hose reel jet then ventilated the smoke-filled dwelling.

Because a house fire had been reported, a rapid response unit from Aultbea was also called out along with units from Dingwall and Scourie.

No-one was injured in the incident.
