Two more coronavirus cases registered in the Highlands as national figures rise by more than 50 and another persons dies

There have been two more confirmed coronavirus cases in the Highlands in the last 24 hours.
These take the number of positive cases identified in the region up to eight, following the latest update provided by the Scottish Government.
The number of Scottish people testing positive for Covid-19 rose to by 51 cases to 373 and there have been seven deaths after contracting the disease – one more than yesterday.
There are now 20 confirmed cases in neighbouring Grampian, up from 19 yesterday.
The worst affected health board areas in Scotland are Greater Glasgow & Clyde (110) and Lanarkshire (49).
A total of 8259 tests for Covid-19 have been carried out in Scotland.
