THE final five contestants in Highland-set BBC TV reality hit The Traitors have been revealed.

And it has emerged that the last remaining Highland contestant, 29-year-old veterinary nurse Evie, has survived a fiery round table and avoided banishment.

Instead Jasmine took the fall – not long after it was revealed Zack had been 'murdered' (or eliminated).

The BBC reality TV show, set at Ardross Castle in Easter Ross, offers up a potential prize pot of £120,000.

We'll find out tomorrow who scoops it.

The Traitors is a competition built on strategy and suspicion. A team of players will compete in a series of missions, the more missions they complete successfully, the bigger the prize pot.

However, hidden amongst the players are the Traitors. The Traitors meet in secret each night and decide who to eliminate from their fellow players known as the Faithfuls.

The aim for the Traitors is to stay undetected until the end, the aim for the Faithful is to banish all of the Traitors before the game ends.

This year's series has added interest in the Highlands with Evie making it all the way to the last episode.

Things took a mysterious twist with an Excalibur-type challenge where participants had a chance to select a 'sacred sword'.

As super-convincing Traitor Harry (22) pulled it, Evie joked in an aside to the camera: "Of course wonder boy pulled out a full sword".

He had the chance to grab £7000 for himself at that point – or put it back into the prize pot. He played the long strategic game and put it back into the pot, cementing his reputation as a team player with some of the others.

But Jaz – who has been dubbed 'Jazatha Christie' for his shrewd observations and – said to camera: "I don't trust Harry at all."

While Evie has come across as quiet to some of her fellow competitors, she put on a gutsy performance to defend herself at the round table. "I will be putting my big girl fighting pants on for the round table" she said ahead of the bruising battle of words. She told Jasmine - who attempted to vote her out – that she was "shifty".

And it was Jasmine who was indeed voted out – only for her to reveal to her fellow contestants that she was a Faithful.

At a dinner party, Evie revealed that if she won the money, she'd look to get a bigger place to stay, moving up from a one-bedroom flat.

Earlier, after the banishment, she tearfully admitted it had been "rough" with more twists yet to come.

Harry, many people's favourite to win, admitted: "This is The Traitors. You never know what's going to happen next."

All wil be revealed tomorrow...
