ROSS cops are probing a string of tools and fuel thefts which have come to light in Easter Ross and on the Black Isle.

A shed and vehicle had been broken.

And Ross-shire police are also looking for information or witnesses following the theft of “a large quantity” of heating oil from a property in the Ord Hill area of Fortrose.

Anyone with information about any of these incidents is urged to contact police on 0845 6005703 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
