‘Tigger’ on the loose in Alness for mascot meet-and-greet tomorrow
An Indian restaurant in Easter Ross has a new mascot in the form of Luther the dog — who now identifies as Tigger!
Fyrish Tandoor opens its doors tomorrow for a meet and greet with the four-year-old Goldendoodle after he received a “bouncy and fun” makeover as the well-known Disney character.
The charismatic canine showed off his new look from Alness dog groomer Short Bark and Sides with a trip to Ullapool earlier this week, and later enjoyed a walk at Rogie Falls where he attracted a lot of attention from passers-by.

Restaurant owner Neetu Singh, who is a self-confessed fan of the Winnie the Pooh character, describes Luther (Tigger) as “adorable, friendly, therapeutic and loved by many”.
She said: “During the Easter period, we decided to jazz up his cuteness to a whole new level. It took about four and a half hours, with lots of breaks.
“He was given his favourite high value treats, told he was loved and cuddled through the process. His nature is great and he enjoys a good pamper.
“On Luther’s day off, he went to Ullapool to explore and meet new people as ‘Tigger’ and he was met with all kinds of responses and expressions of joy.
“I have been asked why do it, but my response is why not? Is it not an enjoyable experience to see something that is not an everyday occurrence?
“The little ones, and the big ones, love it and their laughter becomes contagious.”
Anybody who would like a picture with Tigger, or to come along for a look at his unique “do”, are invited to a meet-and-greet at Fyrish Tandoor on Alness High Street between 3pm and 4pm tomorrow (Thursday).
