A ROSS-SHIRE animal rescue centre was delighted to receive a round donation for its guests.

Bellfield Park Tennis Club delivered a batch of used tennis balls to Munlochy Animal Aid last week for the animals there to play with.

Iona Nichol, founder of Munlochy Animal Aid, said: "We were delighted to have the tennis balls donated amd the dogs will have a lot of fun with them - we have never had a donation like this before."

Ross Lyon, from Bellfield Park Tennis Club, said: "This was our first time donating the tennis balls – I personally live close by and have known about the place for a while. We use a fair quantity of balls for our tennis coaching, and I felt like this was a great way to benefit a business in the local community.

"The team at the Animal Aid were very receptive to the box of older tennis balls, and therefore we are thinking that we would like to keep this going!"
