SENIOR citizens at an Easter Ross care home enjoyed a trip down memory lane with a 1920s' inspired prom.

The roaring twenties shindig at Innis Mhor in Tain saw residents don vintage clothes as they sang and danced to the sounds of that colourful decade.

Various versions of the Charleston were given an airing during the fun event at the Parklands Care run home.

Manager Jackie Macrae said: “The residents miss getting dressed up for a night out, so we thought we’d bring a touch of 1920s glamour to Innis Mhor. We had great fun dancing the Charleston and getting into the spirit of the era.”

Residents Gordon Mackay and Heather Shearer were crowned Prom King and Queen for best capturing the look of the 1920s.
