People in the Highlands have been warned of strong winds expected to hit the region on Wednesday.

The Met Office said that there is a small chance that the weather conditions, which will affect areas around Inverness, Eastter Ross and Strathspey could be significantly disruptive.

People in the area are warned of a small chance of injuries and danger to life from flying debris as well as some damage to buildings, power cuts and disruption to travel.

Coastal roads may be affected by minor flooding,
