Tom Stoltman feels like the “King of the World” after being crowned as the World’s Strongest Man (WSM) for a third time on Sunday.

The 29-year-old Invergordon powerhouse is now one of only seven people to win the title three times, having scooped his previous titles in 2021 and 2022.

In an interview with USA Today, Tom shared his thoughts after his Herculean win at the WSM final at Myrle Beach, South Carolina.

Tom said: “I just want to be ‘King of the World,’ and that’s what I’ve done this weekend.

"I’ve worked for a third title for a while now and to do it before 30 years old is an achievement. I’m just happy with myself. Happy with my performance. Kept my head.”

Speaking of last year’s WSM event, Tom said: “Kind of broke me, not getting that title.

“People with autism get labelled as disabled and all that kind of stuff… I wanted it to be a superpower – and look at me. I’m a three-time World’s Strongest Man, living with autism every single day of my life.

“I want to be the greatest, I don’t even think I’m at my prime.”

In a social media post, Tom has shared his deep appreciation for each person who has helped him reach his ambitions.

Tom said: “I want to thank my fellow competitors for pushing me to levels I never thought possible, and congrats especially to Mitch and Evan for their performances.

“My amazing sponsors, thanks for the support and the belief you have in me.

“We made a plan last year to get this title back, we knew we had to make changes. Myself and Luke stepped up our recovery to a different level thanks to advice from Oli, work with our sport psychologist Dr Dean St. Mart has helped massively, and Atlas Labs diagnostic health helped me stay at my peak physically.

“Coach Dan and nutritionist Nathan, who I have all my trust in, can now add another WSM trophy to their CVs. Both were beside me through prep, comp and kept me in top shape from day one.

“Ewan and Tom our manager and videographer are huge parts of the team that are usually never talked about or get the credit they deserve. Both were out there with us and went over and above to make sure we were focused on performing.

“My friends – you have seen me at the highs and lows, but never walk away and keep me believing.

“Harry – the best wee brother in the world, who has sacrificed a lot for me, and is a massive part of my journey. Big love Harry.

“My family – thank you for letting me do what I love every single day and supporting me on this crazy journey. I love you all.

“Luke – an unbelievable performance considering you just won Europe’s Strongest Man. A competitor, inspiration, a friend, but most importantly my brother in arms, we did this together. Thank you too for Kushi and Koa’s support this special week.

“Dad – I love you so so much and I hope this can keep you smiling from ear to ear. Thank you for everything you do, I know mum is cheering, smiling, dancing and looking after us all from above.

“Sinead – where here do I start with this special lady. Twelve weeks ago she sat me down and told me we are getting what is yours back. My soul mate, best friend, my motivation every single day. The support I get from her is beyond imaginable, it means to her as much as it meant to me. Sinead, you are my everything.”
