Two men who caused a disturbance at the Belladrum music festival last year have been fined at Inverness Sheriff Court.

Sheriff Sara Matheson was told that a 17-year-old got drunk at the event on August 2 last year and was warned about his behaviour.

James Innes, a 48-year-old from Balnageith, Forres, then began shouting abuse at the youth.

Both were allowed to remain at the event until the teenager got involved in a fight.

Stewards intervened and Innes got involved again, kicking one of them twice.

Innes admitted threatening behaviour and assault. He was fined a total of £400.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour and was fined £200.
