ROSS County have agreed a one-year extension deal with a defender who played a part in the Dingwall club's Championship-winning exploits last season.

Sean Kelly (26) started his career at St Mirren before a move to League One outfit, AFC Wimbledon, in August 2016.

Kelly joined Ross County in June 2017 and returned from a spell out injured in the 2018/19 season to help the club clinch the Championship title.

Speaking about his new deal, Kelly said: "I'm happy to have signed on at the club for another year.

"Last season built up a lot of momentum that we're looking to take into the Ladbrokes Premiership."

The news comes on the back of earlier agreements this week involving fellow defender Tom Grivosti and striker Billy Mckay.

More from the camp in today's Ross-shire Journal.
