A POPULAR outdoor market will be back for its spring edition in Nairn on Saturday.

From 10am to 4pm the High Street will see shopkeepers spilling out into the street with market day offers and stalls from Inverness Farmers Market as well as a local "Crafters Corner" in Rosebank Square.

The whole High Street will be closed to traffic from 8am to 10pm, with no overnight parking from the night before.

Access for pedestrians, cyclists and emergency vehicles and access will however be maintained.

Disabled parking will be available in the main car park behind the courthouse.

Nairn Connects BID manager, Lucy Harding, said: "We are hoping for great weather and a lovely day!

"The market is part of the BID's programme of events designed to increase footfall to the town centre, enhance business opportunities for our members and enjoyment for the community."

The next market will be on July 15.
