Free sports equipment made available by Ross-shire clubs during isolation period

Across Ross-shire, sports clubs and facilities are doing what they can to ensure that people can remain active throughout self-isolation periods.

Ross Sutherland Rugby Club have left a bag of rugby balls outside the club's base in Invergordon, which are free for anyone to take.

On a social media post they said: "No training and isolating ourselves shouldn’t mean you can’t practise your skills."

The Stags will be posting home training ideas on their Instagram, Facebook and Twitter feeds.

Following their lead, Ullapool active schools have left footballs outside Lochbroom Leisure Centre, although they request that only one ball is taken per family to help as many people as possible.
