PEOPLE with a thirst for the unusual are being invited to bid for a quirky Halloween show where there is no guarantee the act will turn up.

The famous Victorian venue the Spa Pavilion in Strathpeffer is looking for brave souls to spend All Hallows Eve in the imposing venue on October 30.

The invitation comes from the Strathpeffer Pavilion Community Trust (SPCT) which is working alongside Highland Ghosts (Highland Paranormal) to offer 10 tickets sold at auction for this “rare and interesting event”.

SPCT has taken to the world wide (cob)web of social media to spread the word about the event taking place in the pavilion’s main hall.

SPCT said: “This spooky Halloween experience, involves a history tour, some snacks, and a paranormal investigation.

“Take your sleeping bags and something comfy to lie on and we see who will be able to sleep! Let the bidding commence...”

The venue has seen thousands of people pass through its doors down the years from inspirational speakers to rock bands. It has served as a hospital in wartime and hosted countless community events.

Strathpeffer Pavilion Community Trust is a community-led charity established to ensure the iconic assets of the Pavilion, Pump House and Gardens continue to occupy a central role in village and community life.
