Parklands Care Homes has been caring for older people in the Highlands for almost 30 years, and we’re expanding.

That’s good news for local communities because it means more care beds for our ageing population and the prospect of new career opportunities for local people.

We operate nine care homes across Moray and the Highlands, including Eilean Dubh, our stunning new care home for the Black Isle, opened earlier this year to widespread acclaim. And we’re about to start work on a multi-million pound care hub in Inverness, our biggest ever investment.

So, for anyone considering a career in the care sector, now is a great time to start.

One of the advantages of working for a company like Parklands is the diversity of employment opportunities we provide.

We have vacancies in Fortrose and across the Highlands and Moray – for carers, nurses, shift leaders and ancillary staff. Everyone at Parklands plays an important role in the delivery of high-quality care.

Staff who join us in any role benefit from our commitment to provide training and a clear career path where their ambition is supported and rewarded.

Age is no barrier to a career in the care sector. Around 40% of our workforce are aged 45-64; many are long serving employees, but some have joined us after successful careers in other sectors. It’s never too late to make the change.

Qualifications are not always essential. Our in-house Parklands Academy provides high quality training plans including accredited SVQ courses. Crucially, it ensures that staff can continue to work and train in their local communities, develop new skills and gain promotion.

At Parklands, we recognise that our greatest asset is our people. In return for their hard work, we offer flexible working conditions and competitive salaries. And for a limited time only, we’re offering cash incentives for new staff - £2,000 for new full time nurses and £250 for all other new employees. It pays to care at Parklands.

If you’re passionate about delivering high standards, ambitious for the future and determined to make a difference, we want to hear from you. Care for a career?
