Strathpeffer Pavilion date for Skerryvore as Celtic rock favourites gear up for new album – and reveal retro plans for limited edition signed cassette tapes

SKERRYVORE have announced a date to perform at a well-known Ross-shire venue in the new year.

The band will play Strathpeffer Pavilion on March 19 next year, previewing material from their next album, Tempus, alongside established fan favourites.

The venue made the announcement on St Andrew's Day.

The band has gone from performing in west coast halls and bars to become established as a regular headline act.

An energetic mix of fiddle, accordions, pipes and whistles, alongside guitar and vocals, underpinned by driving bass, drums and keys, has proved a winning formula with a growing fan base.

Tickets will be available from Friday, December 2.

Their appearance at Strathpeffer Pavilion will be one of the first opportunities to hear live performances of tracks from Tempus whih is due for a spring 2023 release.

The band has also announced that it is releasing a limited edition of signed cassette tapes for thenew album – a development sure to please hard core retro fans.
