Singing for Fun group appeals for more members to join in the excitement on the Black Isle

A group that aims to spread joy through music in Ross-shire is appealing for more members to join in the fun.

Singing For Fun has been running for more than five years, and meets once a week in village halls in the Black Isle, giving a chance for anyone to enjoy singing without pressure.

Led by expert tutor and musician, Jessica Hussey-Bates, the group spend sessions singing a variety of songs from musicals to Scottish classics and everything in between.

Long standing group member Jasmine Miller has been in the group for more than four years and loves the sessions.

She wants more people to join in so they can experience the fun.

A session typically includes a warm up activity, then focussing on three or four songs with lots of harmonies and part singing.

The first class is free, then £5 for each session after.

The group is currently meeting at Mulbuie Hall in Muir of Ord every Monday at 7pm. The next session in May 9.

New members are encouraged to just show up and enjoy the fun!
