Invergordon man caught with stolen goods appears at Inverness Sheriff Court

A 44-year-old Easter Ross man who was caught with stolen goods outside the Trading Standards Office in Harbour Road, Inverness will be sentenced on June 6.

After he made an appearance in a Highland court this week, a sheriff called for a background before before considering sentencing options.

Gary Sutherland of High Street, Invergordon appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court and admitted being in possession of power tools on March 30, 2023.

He also pleaded guilty to possessing offensive weapons, namely three crossbow bolts.

Sheriff Gary Aitken called for a background report as Sutherland is on a community payback order.
