SIGNED copies of a Ross-shire writer's latest book look set to become collectors' items.

Shona MacLean signed 20 copies of The House Of Lamentations when she paid a visit to Picaresque Books in Dingwall.

The House Of Lamentations is the last book in The Seeker historical crime fiction series set in the time of Oliver Cromwell.

Given the restrictions still around the coronavirus crisis, the signed copies are amongst the only ones in the country at the moment.

It is out now in hardback (Quercus, £20) and is also available in ebook copies and on audio.
