Searches are continuing by friends this morning in the Aviemore area to find missing man Rodrigo Falcon.

He was reported missing yesterday with Police Scotland issuing an appeal for his whereabouts. Their inquiries are continuing.

Mr Falcon, who hails from Argentina, was last seen about 2am on Sunday at the Vault nightclub in the centre of Aviemore.

He is described as 5ft 6” tall, with a tanned complexion, mullet hairstyle with a moustache and beard.

When last seen he was wearing brown woollen fox style coat, red jacket and baggy jeans.

Concerns for Mr Falcon started to grow when he failed to report for work earlier today at the Pine Marten Bar + Scran which was out of character.

Scott Fleming, who runs the business with his partner, Katie, said this morning that there had been a good response from friends who were out searching for Mr Falcon in the sub-zero conditions.

He urged people to check their outhouses for any sign of him and for guest houses and accommodation providers to see if he may have checked in with them.

Mr Falcon's parents both live in Argentina so Mr Fleming has been the point of contact.

He had stated in a social media post last night: "Please help us find Rod. Check your gardens and sheds please. He's not just one of our staff, he's one of our best friends."

Police have said anyone with any information can:
