Screen Machine mobile cinema prepares to revisit Wester Ross communities

THE ever-popular Screen Machine mobile cinema is preparing for a return visit to a number of Lochalsh and Wester Ross communities.

The cinema will be visiting Dornie, Kyleakin, Lochcarron, Gairloch and Ullapool over the space of a fortnight from early next month.

First up are screenings in Dornie on November 6 and 7 when Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Oppenheimer, A Haunting in Venice and Barbie will be entertaining cinema-goers.

The same movies will be on show when it moves on to Kyleakin to entertain cinema-goers from Skye and the Kyle of Lochalsh on November 8 and 9.

Martin Scorsese's much admired new release Killers of the Flower Moon will join those four films on the screening roster when the Screen Machine sets up in Lochcarron on November 10 and 11.

Ken Loach's latest offering, The Old Oak, will then join those five films on the screening schedule when the mobile cinema rocks up in Gairloch on November 13, 14 and 15.

The Screen Machine's latest visit to Wester Ross comes to an end in Ullapool on November 16, 17 and 18, when A Haunting in Venice, Michael Caine's final film The Great Escaper, Nobody Has to Know, Killers of the Flower Moon, Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, The Old Oak, and sci-fi blockbuster The Creator will be entertaining film fans.
