Santa Claus is coming to Easter Ross town of Tain this week –

Santa is scheduled to pay a visit to Tain courtesy of an invitation from a local group.

And the man in red is doing the royal burgh proud with not just one visit but three trails planned on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Tain Gala Association this week released details of the planned route for the visits, running between 4pm and 7pm on each evening.

On Thursday, it will take in Moss Road, Canmore Way, Mayfield Wynd, Saint Mary’s Well, Duthac Wynd, Springfield Gardens, Stagcroft Park, Provost Ferguson Drive, Well Street, Dunrobin Street, Shore Road, Morangie Road, Academy Street, Drummond Street, Chapel Street, Chapel Road, Rose Street, Hill Street, Tower Street, High Street, King Street, Saint Duthus Street, Lamington Street, Market Street, Geanies Street and Scotsburn Road.

On Friday the route is Manse Street, Glebe Crescent, Saint Andrews Road, Viewhill Crescent, Craighill Terrace, Manse Crescent, Manse Gardens, Mansfield Estate, Craig Avenue, Craig Crescent, Jubilee Drive, Benview Road, Pinewood Place, Juniper Drive, Viewfield Road, Birch Place, Rowan Drive, Arthurville Gardens.

And on Saturday it is Saint Vincent Road, Culpleasant Drive, Culpleasant Avenue, Cameron Road, Cameron Avenue, Cameron Gardens, Seaforth Road, Argyle Court, Seaforth Court, Burgage Drive, Burgage Court, Sutherland Crescent, Fountain Road, Hartfield Road, Hartfield Place, Cromartie Gardens, Sutherland Street, Hartfield Street, Upper King Street, Stafford Street, Knockbreck Street, Shandwick Street, Knockbreck Road, Knockbreck Avenue.
