Salmon business shortlisted in four categories in Highlands and Islands Food and Drink Awards

A WEST coast salmon farming business has been shortlisted for four honours in this year’s Highlands & Islands Food & Drink Awards.

The Scottish Salmon Company, which operates 60 sites along the west coast, was shortlisted in Business Growth, Sustainability, Export and Marketing. The winners will be revealed at a ceremony at Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness on 15 November.

Craig Anderson, chief executive at the company, said: “We are very proud of our Highlands and Islands heritage. To be shortlisted in four categories is a real recognition of our commitment to building a sustainable business that supports the regional economy while providing long-term employment.”
