AN Easter Ross lunch club has been served up a welcome boost from a local rotary club.

Invergordon Seniors' Lunch Club has gone from strength to strength with between 20 and 30 people attending.

The get-together also includes a game of bingo.

Local councillor Maxine Smith thanked Rotary Club of Tain and Easter Ross junior vice-president Chris Grant for a £150 donation from the group when he visited last week.

She said: "So much appreciated."

The club meets on a Tuesday and Friday where seniors can go along enjoy a time of fellowship, some lunch and a free game of Bingo.

Chris said ‘’It was great to visit the club on Tuesday, It was obvious when visiting how much people enjoy the club, A time of fellowship, a great lunch and even a game of Bingo! The food also smelled amazing, It’s a great thing that Councillors Maxine Smith and Pauline Munro have setup along with a super team of volunteers and we wish them well’’

A huge thank you to George Reid of George Reid Photography for coming along and taking a few photos.
