A FAMILY-run veterinary practice in Easter Ross has returned to working behind closed doors due to the number of staff self-isolating.

Easter Ross Vets, which has branches in Alness, Invergordon and Tain, posted: "Unfortunately, due to struggling with staff members having to self-isolate because of the dreaded bug, we have taken the difficult decision to revert to working behind closed doors while numbers in this area remain so high."

It says it hopes the situation "will be very temporary".

It said: "In doing this we hope to keep everyone safe and be able to continue treating the pets of Easter Ross.Thank you for your understanding."
