Ross-shire through the Lens, which features on our letters page each week, is a chance to showcase a favourite photograph taken within Ross-shire.

Regular contributor Linda Ross, who is closely attuned to the Ross-shire landscape, took this one of McFarquhar's Bed, a sea stack on a walk roughly two miles east of Cromarty.

Most people choose to share landscapes but we're quite partial to seeing people in them too.

And pets (check out this coming week's one in the paper).

So the world's your oyster.

As long as it's within Ross-shire...which is plenty big and beautiful to offer lots of choice.
