Every week we publish a photograph taken in Ross-shire by a reader.

These appear on the letters page of the Ross-shire Journal and offer a glimpse into the county through the eyes of readers and visitors.

Given the wide variety of landscapes to choose from and the unique perspective of whoever is holding the camera (or phone!), your imagination is really the only limit!

We've had landscapes ranging from maritime to mountainous with the odd pet sneaking in there along the way.

Ideally it in some way captures the spirit of Ross-shire or a unique aspect of the county.

This week's shot was taken by regular contributor Philip Murray who has a great eye for a picture and enjoys getting out and about with his camera.

This one is looking down on Ullapool from the hills above it.
