Fiona Blake of Tore shared this image from farmland near Cotterton.

It's the latest in a long series of photographs submitted by Ross-shire Journal readers for our weekly Ross-shire though the Lens feature.

The images get pride of place on our letters page each week and we love to see what you come up with.

The idea couldn't be simpler: take a photograph within Ross-shire are share it with others.

As anyone lucky enough to live in the area knows, there's so much to see coast to coast.

Stunning scenery in weather that can change from one minute to the next offers a great starting point.

And then there's the wildlife some of our more patient – or lucky – photographers manage to capture on their cameras.

If you'd like to get involved, email hector.mackenzie@hnmedia.co.uk with your image and a few lines about where it was taken.
