Black Isle man captures Red Arrows' 'fantastic couple of days' over Tain in stunning pictures.

The RAF display team carried out training from the RAF Lossiemouth base.

This helps prepare for a new display season, simulating working from another location – which happens often during a busy summer of events and airshows across the UK.

Many in and around Tain and Easter Ross also enjoyed stunning displays during sorties across the area which had been flagged up in advance.

Amongst them was David May of Culbokie who shared these stunning images.

He captured his shots of the action from the Tain Air Weapons Range.

He said: "It was a fantastic couple of days with quite a few people watching from the range."
