A Ross-shire SWI group has sent out "positive vibes" as members begin to meet again after a tough year.

The Ross-shire Federation SWI made its remarks after noting that most of its institutes "have now met for the first time in over a year at least".

It added: "It's been with, I'm sure trepidation and worry, to meet but with a sensible approach, and help and support to each other, it has been done.

A big thank you goes to all the office bearers, committee members and members from each institute, who work hard to strive to keep the SWI going, and promoting the ethos of what it is about.Let's keep the SWI flag flying!"

SWI – Scottish Women's Institutes – is the largest individual women membership body in Scotland.

There are 18 SWI groups within the Ross-shire Federation.
