THREE service points in Ross-shire will be closed on the morning of Thursday, February 29, residents are being warned.

They are amongst a total of seven service points and registration offices that will be closed that day between 9am - 12.30pm.

The morning closures will be at Alness, Dingwall, Dornoch, Golspie, Tain, Thurso and Wick Service Points, and Inverness Registration Office.

Dingwall, Thurso and Wick Service Points will open in the afternoon as usual at the following times:

Dingwall (open 1.30pm – 4pm)

Wick (open 1.30pm – 4pm)

Thurso (open 1.30pm – 4.30pm).

The offices are being closed to enable staff to join registration colleagues from all 32 local authorities across Scotland in attending a national registration training event hosted by the Association of Registrars of Scotland.
