THE hard work, community spirit, sporting prowess and musical talent of pupils at Ross-shire's largest secondary school has been recognised.

Dingwall Academy staged its prizegiving ceremony on Wednesday night, continuing a long tradition of acknowledging endeavour across a broad range of disciplines.

Many of the pupils taking a bow at the event have gone through the unprecedented experience of home learning during the coronavirus crisis and the occasion was an opportunity to celebrate the school's resilience and wider community spirit.

See next week's edition for more pictures and a full report from the event.
