A ROSS-SHIRE medical practice is contacting the next cohort of patients eligible for the coronavirus vaccination.

Tain and Fearn Area Medical Practice shared the latest development on its social media channels today.

It posted: "Good news! We are currently phoning patients in the 70-79 years old category to book appointments for the coronavirus vaccination. Our number may show up as 'withheld' or an 0800 number or even a '89****' style number.

"Please try and answer this call so we can make an appointment for you.

"Please share this message to make your friends and relatives aware if they do not have Facebook themselves. Thank you for your help."
