A 36-year-old Dingwall man who was extradited from Poland under a 2018 arrest warrant has appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court.

The indictment containing two charges of Damian Krol being involved in the supply of cannabis and ecstasy had fallen due to his non-appearance.

He was represented by Marc Dickson who said his client, who will be re-indicted, made no plea at this stage and did not apply for bail.

The hearing was in public as Krol was not on petition, which would have demanded a private appearance.

Sheriff Neil Wilson remanded Krol in custody.
