Dingwall joiner lands one year road ban after admitting drug-driving offence

Police pulled over a motorist on the A9 near Moy and tested him for drugs.

The roadside test on 27-year-old joiner Grant Mightens proved positive for a cannabis metabolyte on February 15, 2022.

At Inverness Sheriff Court, he admitted drug-driving with a reading of 4.9mcgs when the safe limit is 2mcgs.

Mightens of Upper Docharty, Dingwall was fined £850 and banned from driving for a year.
