Fundraiser in Culbokie will have kids going searching for Easter eggs

Kids to benefit from charity superstars latest fundraiser to celebrate Easter and support charity competition.

Kirsty Littlejohn is hosting an Easter egg hunt in Culbokie, her home village, to raise money for the Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre.

She is a participant in the annual Strictly Inverness event where contestants have to fundraise to take part.

The Easter egg hunt will take place at Culbokie Woods on April 17 where kids will be treated to a goodie bag as well as keeping any eggs they find.

There will also be a competition for the best decorated egg with a special prize up for grabs.

Ms Littlejohn recently hosted a football match also in Culbokie where she raised £1250 despite the snowy conditions.

She said: “I think the adults had enough fun at the football definitely time for the little ones to have some fun!”

Strictly Inverness is returning after a two year break due to coronavirus restrictions.

Tickets went on sale on Wednesday, with this years special guest judge Flavia Cacace-Mistry, best known for her stint as a professional dancer on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
